Halo Re Evolved!

We have a conundrum..


So.. there is going to be a Halo Combat Evolved HD remake which is cool beans.
It is expected to sport 1080p visuals (Way better than Reach which was only in 720) and also has 3D. Multiplayer details are still “being worked out,” but the remake is expected to feature online co-op (Which is for n00bs).


I always enjoyed the main Halo story arc, (I thought Reach was rather boring)I just hope that they try to keep to it as much as possible.


I just wish that Bungie had kept the rights to the franchise so it could be on the PlayStation....




anyway I look forward to mooching it and free Xbox live weekends off my friends (the only friends I have that own Xboxs)

Assassin's Creed!

I Love Assassin's Creed. It would have to be one of my all time favourite games.
The people down at Ubisoft announced the next installment in the series Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

According to Game Informer it will be set in Constantinople, and will be split between four districts: Constantine, Beyazis, Imperial and Galata.
Theres a new gadget available to Ezio called the hookblade which can be used to move around the city with ziplines and can also be used to pull enemies towards Ezio so he can tear em up. Apparently Ezio has access to over 300 types of bombs that he will be able to craft himself.
Eagle Vision has been renamed to Eagle Sense, now you can see where a character has been and where he is going so you can lay a trap with some of those fancy bombs I mentioned earlier. According to Game Informer the Borgia Towers concept has been expanded as well with a new system created in its place. There are locations throughout the city called Assassin’s Dens — you can build these dens by killing off the Templar presence in the area through various assault scenarios. Once obtained, you’ll be able to upgrade the buildings and add ziplines across its rooftops.
From what Ive read this game is going to be a really fun game to play.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations should be out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in November 2011.

The Age Of Choice....

I like games... they're fun (mostly) but because I don't have any Munny I cant get any new ones... except for today, I actually have Munnys today! Not enough though to actually go out and buy a game from the shops cause games in Australia are annoyingly expensive, buying Black Ops will still set you back $80 (I have no idea why... I reckon its a rubbish game... that might be a good topic for another blog) Anyway.. I have enough dollars to buy a game online from the states.. (Can anyone provide me with a solid answer as to why games are so cheap over there?)
OK Ive narrowed down my choices to four games. LA Noire, Brink, Portal 2 Or Crysis 2... Thats as far as I got with that.

Somebody HELP ME!

L.A. Noire

Developer: Team Bondi (An Aussie Bunch Yay!)

Story (As far as I know) : Uhh Solve murders and stuff in 1947.


My Thoughts: I really liked the Grand Theft Auto series (or any other game where you can roam around and make mischief and stuff between missions) even though I haven't finished it yet. I have seen some reviews on it through my internet travels and it is scoring fairly high. This Game should be really fun.


Brink

Developer: Splash Damage
Publisher: Bethesda Softworks


Story (As far as I know) : Team Fortress 2 of the future.




My Thoughts: Looks like it could be endless fun tearing up n00bs. (When the PSN is back online)
Loads of character customisation "102 quadrillion unique character combinations" Claims Bethesda.



Portal 2

Developer: Valve
Publisher: Valve

Story (As far as I know) : Going through annoying rooms with blue and orange portals whilst wearing leg braces.

My Thoughts: I found Portal 1 to be quite frustrating and every time I attempt it i find my self rage quitting... which is odd because its a fairly calm game... I did enjoy listening to GLaDOS blabber on about my ENTER HOMETOWN HERE, now there's a British bloke who cracks a funny every now and then which is good.


Crysis 2

Developer: Crytek
Publisher: EA Games

Story (As far as I know) :COD Of The Future With Added Aliens


My Thoughts: I played the multiplayer demo which was fun... I spent most of my time sliding around tearing up. should be good fun for a little bit... at least until I get the next Assassins Creed Or Modern Warfare 3.

Alright... I've never blogged before so cut me some slack

So umm yeah. I never really knew what was so good about blogging, these days it seems like every man (Or Woman?) and his (Her?) dog has a blog these days.... I thought to myself I should have one too.. If only for shits and giggles.
Anyway if I'm actually going to make this thing ... useful I might as well talk about something... I figured Games and Technology.. pretty much cause I like games and tech... I'll probably cram some other stuff I feel like ranting about in there at some point. I dare say my first blog other than this one will be about games that are about to come out or have just come out that I want.. We'll see how that goes.
